  • Correct date / time properties (time taken) on your images
    • Quickly adjust the date and time your photo was taken by a specified days, hours, minutes or seconds. This allows you to correct your photo time taken should you discover your camera date and time were set wrong. Easily align photos from multiple cameras for easier sorting and viewing.
    • Set an image to a specified date and time. With this option you can update all your images to a specified date and time, set the date and leave the time as it originally was, or start with the first image at a specified date and time and then add xx seconds to each subsequent image.
    • Add the date and time to images without EXIF data. This is great for those early digital photos which never included the date taken, or when scanning old photos and wanting to set the date which the photo was taken.
    • Set the image date and time based on the file created or modified date.
    • Set the image date and time based off text within the file name. For example:
      • 20131212102005 – Christmas.jpg
      • 20071231.jpg
      • 2012-05-01 10-20-10 image 1.cr2
      • IMG_20110604_110852 image 1.jpg

    • Time difference calculator to help determine correct date / time corrections. Enter two different dates to calculate the exact offset difference, or set these dates based off the date time an image was taken.
  • Batch process a folder of images, or selected images only
    • Quickly and easily select the required images by either selecting a folder or individual images.
    • Alternatively set the selected images by using Windows drag and drop to drop a folder or selected images directly onto EXIF Date Changer.
  • File Renaming
    • Rename all the images to include the Date/Time taken. This makes it much easier to identify the image date without having to open the image properties, along with easier sorting on devices which don’t allow you to sort by image date time taken.

    Using filters allows you to separate out and exclude certain images from processing.
    • Adjust all images from a certain camera only. This is very useful when sorting out photos from multiple cameras. You can adjust a single cameras images only so when you sort and compare your images they are grouped together correctly.
    • Only adjust photos taken after a certain date.

Please note – there are incredibly many parameters that can be written in EXIF. These parameters (tags) can differ depending on camera brand.
