Download drivers or software. Follow these steps to install additional Canon drivers or software for your printer / scanner. Go to Canon Support. Enter your Canon model in the box. When your model appears below the box, click it. Select Drivers & Downloads to the right of the image of your model. Select the Drivers, Software or Firmware tab. Select the Select Driver screen Canon Driver Information Assist Service (when acquiring device information). Select the Confirm Settings screen Use as Shared Printer or Use as Shared Fax (when you want to use the computer you are installing to as a print server).
